Insurance & Billing Information

We want you to be as informed as possible. Which is why we take care to spend enough time with you in your initial consultation to provide all the information you need to make the right decision for yourself.

What is a patient visit like?

An initial new patient visit is one hour of concentrated time in which Dr. Cabin does a preliminary physical and has an in-depth discussion with the patient regarding their medical history and current health concerns.  Follow-up appointments are generally 30 minutes, depending on the specific needs of the patient. 

Do you take insurance?

We operate as a “cash for services provider” meaning our office does not directly bill insurance companies. Having said that, we do assist our patients in obtaining reimbursement from their insurance companies by providing them with a medically coded Superbill that they may file with their insurer. We accept cash, check, credit cards and HSA cards for payment.

Can I still bill my insurance?

We code your bill to make it easy to bill your insurance. While we can’t guarantee your insurance will cover any of our services, we make it easy to find out. Follow your individual insurer’s process to submit a claim.

What is homeopathic medicine?

Homeopathy is a medical system based on the belief that the body can cure itself. Those who practice it use small amounts of natural substances, like plants and minerals. We believe these stimulate the healing process that our bodies were made for.

How much does a visit cost?

An initial patient visit has a fee of $325 for the entire hour. Additional follow up visits have a per-visit fee of $160 for 30 minutes.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require at least a 24 hour notice to cancel a scheduled appointment. You will be responsible for 100% of the visit cost for any cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment.
